We have been learning about the cool school programme linked to the Peace Foundation as part of our training to be leaders of our schools.

This foundation links directly to the “Cool School’s programme”.
This programme specifically targets a range of social skills aimed at empowering students.
These skills promote assertive behaviours to resolve conflict.
Mediators help people with problems.Mediators aren't judges they don’t take sides.
Mediators are active listeners.
Active Listening.
Active listening involves eye contact.
Mediators do not take sides.
